JOB DESCRIPTION


Job Title: Operations Manager
Reports To: Owner
Purpose: The purpose of the Operations Manager is to support a privately-held window treatment and soft goods company through administrative functions. This position is part of a five person team designed to ensure quality products and services to an elite clientele in the Delaware Valley. The position is fast paced, and changes daily.

Hours: Full time salaried position with benefits


Responsibilities:

  • Interact daily with coworkers and a variety of clients, vendors, and interior designers in a busy, changing environment

  • Read emails and construct appropriate responses and action steps

  • Write proposals using Quickbooks desktop

  • Invoice using Quickbooks desktop

  • Schedule measures, consultations and installations

  • Use and develop systems to track client communications

  • Answer phones during regular office hours

Requirements:

  • Must have experience writing estimates/proposals in Quickbooks desktop or similar software

  • Ability to prioritize tasks and redirect when urgent needs arise

  • Must be detail oriented but a quick worker, combining accuracy and efficiency

  • Must be good at building processes to create systems that are used regularly

  • Ability to work independently and/or as part of a close-knit, cohesive team, depending on the day/task

  • Willingness to learn; previous window treatment experience is not required

  • Strong client focus and proven customer service skills

  • Interest in learning something new and putting that skill/knowledge to use

  • Interest in participating in a casual, fun environment with coworkers who have a strong work ethic

  • Must have reliable transportation, work from home is not available
