Fabricator: All skill levels

JOB TITLE: Assistant fabricator through workroom manager/lead fabricator

REPORTS TO: TBC depending on the position

JOB DESCRIPTION: Cut and sew fabrics and linings, make work orders, fabricate finished soft goods

HOURS:

30-40 hours per week. The exact times can be set by the applicant but must be consistent each week. 

REQUIREMENTS:

The applicant must:

- have reliable transportation 

- be in good physical health, able to stand for long periods of time

- be ENERGETIC and excited to learn new things

- prior sewing skills will be assessed and compensated accordingly

COMPENSATION:

Assistant fabricator (no experience needed):

-Pay is $23 per hour for a 2 week training period, paid by check.

-After that, if they can assume half of their responsibilities independently, they will be hired as an employee at $25 per hour

Workroom manager or lead fabricator (3+ years experience required):

-Pay to be negotiated depending on prior experience and sewing skills

This position can expand to incorporate additional skills, has pay increases at the end of every year, retirement benefits and flexibility to choose work hours once independent work is established.
