Assistant Drapery Fabricator

JOB TITLE: Assistant drapery fabricator

REPORTS TO: Lead drapery fabricator

JOB DESCRIPTION: Cut and sew fabric and linings used to make drapery panels

HOURS:

8-10 hours per week to be split into 2-3 days. The exact times can be set by the applicant but must be consistent each week. 

REQUIREMENTS:

The applicant must:

- have reliable transportation 

- be in good physical health, able to stand for long periods of time

- be energetic and excited to learn new things

COMPENSATION:

Pay is $25 per hour for a 2 week training period, paid by check.

After that, if they can assume half of their responsibilities independently, they will be hired as an employee at $27 per hour

This position can expand to incorporate additional skills, has pay increases at the end of every year, retirement benefits and flexibility to choose work hours once independent work is established.
