Job Title: Operations Manager
Reports To: Owner
Purpose: The purpose of the Operations Manager is to support a privately-held window treatment and soft goods company by providing smooth, efficient service that exceeds the expectations and needs of clients. This position is part of a five person team designed to ensure quality products and services to an elite clientele in the Delaware Valley. The position is fast paced, and changes daily.
Hours: Full time salaried position with benefits, 9am-5am Monday-Friday.
Improve existing systems by developing new systems and/or using tools to increase efficiency.
Managing quality assurance and customer satisfaction.
Analyze process workflow.
Read emails and construct appropriate responses and action steps.
Review and approve all operational invoices and ensure they are submitted for payment.
Write proposals using QuickBooks desktop.
Invoice clients using QuickBooks desktop.
Schedule measures, consultations and installations.
Use and develop systems to track client communications.
Answer phones during regular office hours.
Experience writing estimates/proposals in QuickBooks desktop or similar software.
Ability to prioritize tasks and redirect when urgent needs arise.
Detail oriented but a quick worker, combining accuracy and efficiency.
Ability to build processes and create systems that are used regularly.
Ability to work independently and/or as part of a close-knit, cohesive team, depending on the day/task.
Willingness to learn; previous window treatment experience is not required.
Strong client focus and proven customer service skills.
Must have reliable transportation, work from home is not available.
